TO POLISH STEEL, FENDERS, FIRE-IRONS, etc. - Powder some bath-brick, and make it into a paste with turpentine. Apply to the steel with a piece of flannel and polish with a clean soft duster or flannel. This is an excellent recipe for cleaning fire irons that have been neglected. (From old pages.
