Fruit Loops Trail Mix

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 ounce) box Fruit Loops cereal
  • 1 15 ounce) bag mini pretzel twists
  • 1 (1 pound) bag M&M’s
  • 1 box raisins
  • 1 can salted peanuts

Directions

Mix all together and store in airtight container.

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup raw peanuts
    • 1/8 tsp. chili powder
    • 1/8 tsp. paprika
    • 1/8 tsp. cayenne

    Directions

    Preheat oven to 300°F. Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Stir gently until combined. Spread out on a cookie sheet and bake 5-10 minutes, stirring once, or until hot.

    Ingredients

    • 1/4 lb. soft cream cheese
    • 2 Tbs. blue cheese\grated, crumbled
    • 1 Tbs. orange zest
    • 2 Tbs. plus 2 tsp. finely chopped nuts

    Directions

    Combine first 3 ingredients. Form into small balls, roll in the nuts, and chill for 1 hour, or until firm.

  • Quick Soft Pretzels

    Ingredients

    • 10 ounces refrigerated pizza dough
    • 1 egg, beaten
    • 1 Tbs. water
    • 2 Tbs. coarse salt

    Directions

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Place pizza dough on lightly floured wax paper and roll into a 16×10 inch rectangle. Cut dough lengthwise into 10 1 inch wide strips. Shape each strip into a circle, overlapping about 4 inches from each end and leaving ends free. Taking one end of the dough in each hand, twist at the point where the dough overlaps. Lift each end across to the edge of the circle opposite it. Tuck ends under to seal. Place pretzels 1 inch apart on an ungreased baking sheet. Beat egg and water in a bowl. Brush pretzels with egg mixture and sprinkle with salt. Bake 15-17 minutes, or until golden. Serve warm.

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup roasted salted peanuts
    • 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips, or candy coated chocolate pieces
    • 1/4 cup whole almonds
    • 1/4 cup raisins
    • 1/4 cup chopped dates
    • 1 Tbs. sunflower seeds

    Directions

    Combine all ingredinets in a bowl and serve.

    Ingredients

    • 2 Tbs. instant nonfat milk powder
    • 2 tsp. water
    • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
    • 2 Tbs. honey
    • 1/2 cup plus 2 Tbs. smooth natural peanut butter

    Directions

    Combine milk powder, water, and vanilla in a bowl. Slowly blend in honey and peanut butter, stirring until liquid blends with peanut butter. Form into balls and chill in the refrigerator.

    Ingredients

    • 3 cups Nuts, walnuts, almonds or pecans, or a combination
    • 1/3 cup confectioner’s sugar
    • 2 Tbs. water
    • 2 Tbs. sesame seeds
    • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

    Directions

    Combine first 3 ingredients in a microwave safe dish. Microwave uncovered 3 minutes on high. Remove and stir to coat all the nuts. Let stand 3 minutes before spreading on waxed paper. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and cinnamon and allow to cool before serving.

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 cup corn flakes cereal, or wheat cereal
    • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
    • waxed paper

    Directions

    Crumble the cereal in a bowl. Mix in the peanut butter, stirring thoroughly. Form mixture into small balls. Place on wax paper and put in freezer for 10 minutes or until hardened. Serve.

    Ingredients

    • 1-1/4 cups strawberries
    • 1-2/3 cups crushed pineapple
    • 3-1/4 bananas, cut in cubes
    • 2-3/4 tsp. frozen orange juice concentrate
    • 1 cup water
    • paper cup

    Directions

    Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend or process until smooth. Pour into small paper cups and freeze. Serve partially defrosted.
