Ingredients

  • 1 can (7 1/2 oz.) Crab Meat, drained and flaked
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp. finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp. prepared mustard
  • Dash garlic salt
  • 3 English muffins, split and toasted

Directions

Stir together Crab Meat and mayonnaise; set aside. Beat together cream cheese, egg yolk, onion, mustard and salt until smooth and creamy. Spread toasted muffin halves with Crab mixture. Top with cream cheese mixture. Place on baking sheet, broil 5-6 inches from heat for 2-3 minutes, until top is bubbly and golden. Cut each muffin half into quarters. Makes 24 appetizers.
